In addition to our store operations, we demonstrate our difference once again with our Food Delivery Operation (FSD), which we have developed in line with the changing guest needs in recent years, and we maintain our position as the market leader in these areas.

As Metro Turkey Human Resources, the evaluations of independent organizations are very valuable to us. It is very important to re-examine the programs and areas of experience we have created for our employees in our own kitchen through the eyes of different evaluation institutions, and to see both our areas of improvement and our areas of improvement. Human Resources practices are not works that can be said to be “we have done”. The world is changing rapidly. Both the work and the world of the employee are evolving accordingly, so it is very valuable to update our work to enter such evaluation stops on the way. I also find Happy Place To Work, which was organized for the first time this year, very valuable. There are several reasons for this:
- It is the only assessment center that looks at Human Resources practices from the Happiness perspective.
- When we look at the question set, the focus is on happiness, but it also measures the entire 360-degree employee experience step by step. It includes career-oriented areas such as Development, Performance, and Feedback. There are also issues of diversity and inclusion, working together, having fun/celebration, and physical and mental well-being.
Therefore, I can easily say that today, it gives the opportunity to clearly reveal what the institutions that say the happiness of my employees are actually doing in this field. Behind this detailed survey, we see that there is a very comprehensive analysis and both academic and field studies in the field of culture.
For us, it is one of the most valuable awards we have received in the national arena. Metro Turkey is an institution that has an employee focus and grows together with its employees, where each of our employees can express and develop themselves freely. It is very important to demonstrate this vision to our employees and business partners with such a meaningful award, and in a sense, to certify it. These awards also support our employees’ sense of belonging to their institutions, and reinforce their sense of trust and pride in the institution.
My wish is that this award process will continue with the same meticulousness in the upcoming periods and that we, as METRO Turkey, remain on this list permanently. I would also like to add that a platform where institutions within networks will share good practice examples here will contribute to all of us.
